Glen Morris through his business SolarQuip, has been installing renewable energy systems both on and off-grid for over 29 years. Glen consults for the Smart Energy Council (SEC), is the SEC representative on Standards Australia EL-042 Committee (renewable energy standards), teaches renewable energy courses at various technical institutes throughout Australia, has been a board member and Vice President of the Smart Energy Council, and has been a renewable energy system auditor for both the Clean Energy Council and the New Zealand Government.
Glen has lived off-grid for the past 30 years.
During his time as a board member of the SEC Glen has helped develop: SolarPlus – solar PV design tool; the Solar Gold training program (PV best practice); and run many industry solar training events in Australia, New Zealand, Philippines, The Pacific, Hong Kong and China. Glen currently runs the Smart Energy Lab near Melbourne where they do product field testing of smart energy equipment.
