Benedikt has worked after his successfully studying of Electrical Engineering in Dortmund (Germany) as a Project and Control System Engineer at Next-Kraftwerke GmbH in Cologne (Germany). At the beginning of 2016, he moved to the Chair of Power System Engineering at the Bergische Universität Wuppertal. Benedikt mainly works on the development of dynamic electricity tariffs as part of the “Happy Power Hour II” research project. Additionally in 2018 he became the Head of the Research Group “Energy Markets and Flexibility Management”.
