The levelized cost of electricity, or LCOE, clearly achieve the long-awaited goal of grid competitiveness in many countries and even undercut the traditional sources of electricity from coal and gas. This low cost of renewable power along with drop in storage prices has made it a viable option attracting investments. In addition to the growing demand from a global perspective to go renewable, push from developing economies like India and China, climate goals and more will see a rapid transition of the global energy mix.
*A case study on “Real world performance exceeds expectations” will also be shared.
3 key takeaways from the presentation:
1. How to lower LCOE of Solar Energy
2. Challenges of deploying solar comparing to conventional sources
3. The potential of Floating PV and its advantages.
